Job Description

Way Collective is an inclusive contemplative church in Santa Barbara, CA. We are looking for someone to work 8/hrs a week with our children and help us develop ways to connect with local families.

Responsibilities

Way Co Kids Curator Job Description

3 hours: Way Collective children’s leadership on Wednesday nights (5-8 PM)

Program includes connecting over a meal, teaching lessons, childcare, volunteer coordination

2 hours: Prepare for teaching kids times on Wednesday nights

1 hour: Weekly staff meeting, check in with core curator

2 hours: Planning for/developing Way Co Family outreach

Total: 8 hours/week

Qualifications

Prior experience working with children

Great social skills to build community

Alignment with Way Collective's practices and values (https://www.waycollective.org/practices-values)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Creative thinking and problem solving

Education, Certs, etc. are a plus

This position is a mandated reporter position, and will be background checked, etc.
