SUMMARY
Electro-Optical-Mechanical (EOM) Assembler will be primarily responsible for the assembly, alignment, and testing of EOM devices for Medical 3D applications, including 3D cameras and 3D beam splitters. EOM Assembler will also assemble complete systems into self-contained roll-around carts, pull parts kits from inventory to prepare for upcoming camera builds, package and prepare outgoing shipments as well as unpack and log incoming shipments (including components/parts and returned materials (RMAs).
SALARY AND PAY TRANSPARENCY
Hourly rate for this position is typically between $25 and $32 per hour. Base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and all applicable company benefits.
The salary range and/or hourly pay rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job posting and may be modified in the future.
JOB DUTIES
Executes manufacturing processes in the production of medical devices for microsurgery by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.
Assemble EOM systems including precision mechanical assembly, electronics assembly, cable assembly, soldering and other manufacturing processes.
Adhere to good manufacturing practices. Wear appropriate clothing and maintain neat and orderly work areas.
Follow ESD policy
Performs work in accordance with released product specifications such as Assembly Instructions (AIs) and QA Travelers and related product specifications
Accurate and timely recording of product information on AI and QA Travelers
Immediate notification to QA personnel when product does not meet product specifications or a need to deviate from written instructions. Any deviation from released product specifications needs documented.
Issue Non-Conforming material reports for material that does not meet product specifications and notify QA personnel
Recommendation for continual product improvement to Engineering and QA personnel
Handling, storage, and assembly of products that does not compromise the cosmetic finish

QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable Education
Associate's (A.A) degree in electronics or technology.
Mandatory Experience
Five to seven years of minimum experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing in a high technology environment.
Desirable Experience
Optical assembly, stereoscopic 3D imaging product familiarity, ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 Quality Management System manufacturing environment, medical device manufacturer.
Language
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Math
Demonstrate ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning
Demonstrate ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
