Marketing Specialist

Company in Goleta is looking for a full time Marketing Specialist to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a well established, fast growing company that offers health insurance, paid time off, sick time and other in house benefits.

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

$18.00-$20.00/hour

Essential Functions:

This entry-level position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and is responsible for supporting, analyzing, developing and helping to execute effective brand marketing programs via sponsored events, car clubs and social media influencers.

This role will also provide support for the entire Marketing Department through ongoing coordination of internal marketing activities such as the production of marketing materials and communication of promotion schedules to help ensure that key department deadlines are met.

Prepare and maintain the Marketing Department’s annual event schedule. Including event planning, coordination of travel, procurement of needed materials, communication with show organizers, ordering and inventory of materials and supplies and participation in various company events.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a marketing or social media advertising role

Able to plan and manage tasks to achieve stated goals and objectives within established timelines

Proficiency with PC/MAC operations and MS Excel, Outlook

WordPress experience a plus

Proficiency with current social media platforms
