Assistant Retail Manager

The Assistant Retail Manager is responsible for ensuring the Bree’Osh bakery vision and mission are brought to life at each store, ensuring that each team leaders is performing their duties and goals. Working with the Bree’Osh owners and Retail Manager, the Assistant Retail Manager ensures that stores are optimized for profitability.
Duties:
Ensure ordering and inventory are being performed accurately by coaching staff on making adjustments to keep inventory tight and limit waste
Ensure weekly supplies is being performed at each store
Assess staffing with Retail manager and owners, perform interviews and hire staff who meet requirements of job and align with company vision and mission
Assist in training and orientation to new hires
Work as a team with managers, owners, and HR to set company goals and achieve them
Take part in quarterly staff meetings to ensure staff communication is high, staff are all aligned and on the same page
Ensure cash handling is managed well at each store
Take part in/contribute to monthly managers meetings
Have weekly check-in meeting with Retail manager and support them with projects, store maintenance, etc.
Work as a cashier / barista at least one shift per week in different stores
Be a presence in each store, get to know regular customers and the community
Ensure that retail store presentation is exceptional, working with owners to overhaul/replace any necessary displays
Take place in meeting bakery on a weekly/monthly basis to ensure successful food program
Ensure scheduling and personnel are utilized accurately, coach managers and hold them accountable
Implement new product plans effectively and efficiently
Assist in performing staff reviews being executed and documented
Coordinating the FOH operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
-Patio management
-Supply and storage management (dry storage)
-Enforcing the cleaning schedule by the FOH as defined
-Enforcing the laws and health / safety regulations by the city,
Required:
Full-time availability (5 days. Preferred Tuesday-Saturday)
Driver’s License
Clean driving record
Reliable transportation
3-4 years of restaurant management experience (Bakery/coffee shop experience preferred)
Experience & Qualifications:
