Local garage conversion/ADU specialist wanted

We are looking to get permits to get our garage converted into a legal living space.

We need a local expert who has a lot of experience with what precisely needs to be added, improved, or changed in order to make it legal with the city of Santa Barbara.

This is a small project. The place is dry-walled, and has electricity, toilet and shower.

We are currently using it as storage, music and work-out room.
