Project Manager:

Must have the ability to handle the planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception through completion. Our projects are fast paced and require immediate response to field personnel and customer requirements. The position will require job walks and client meetings.

In addition to the required experience above, the right candidate will have natural leadership abilities, be able to work independently, and is organized and detail-oriented. It is critical that you have the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with clients, colleagues and coworkers, as well as the ability to recognize a potential problem and resolve immediately and effectively.

Responsibilities Include:

· Bidding and estimating

· Selecting, negotiating and coordinating the work of sub-contractors

· Adhering to proper administration of construction contracts with knowledge of and the experience

· Write scopes of work and assemble competitive estimates

· Effectively manage weekly work output and meet bid deadlines

· Represent the company on pre-bid job walks ask pertinent questions and relay site visit information to other team members and trade contractors as required

· Orchestrate and manage trade-contractor site visits

· Analyze trade-contractor estimates for scope accuracy and completeness

· Reporting/updating to owners the progress of projects including any changes needed

· Preparing transmittals, submittals, contracts and daily logs

· Preparing and processing change orders timely and accurately

· Supervising and supporting field staff

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

· Self-sufficient and organized

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office

· Experience writing scopes of work and project scheduling

· Strong time management and organizational skills with an extreme attention to details

· Self starter ability to prioritize and multitask

· Demonstrated experience and passion for quality building and client satisfaction

· Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook

MUST be able to read plans and be willing to work as a Team member to ensure the success and timely completion of all projects
