Accounts Payable Manager

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager in San Ramon, California. This role is in the financial industry and will involve managing accounts payable, analyzing financial information, assisting with monthly closing, and overseeing the reconciliation of accounts.Responsibilities: Analyze and prepare financial information for entry into general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions and completing corresponding reconciliations Assist in the closing processes at the end of each month, quarter, and year, specifically focusing on Accounts Payable Prepare schedules for tax payments and collaborate on the annual audit Investigate and correct any errors or inconsistencies in accounts payable transactions Recommend changes to current accounting procedures by conducting thorough analysis Monitor monthly vendor trends to ensure all transactions are captured for month-end close Mentor and train staff to promote detail oriented growth and adherence to internal policies Administer and continuously monitor the Concur system Assist with the implementation of new software systems as required Undertake special projects as needed.Requirements Proven experience in Account Coding Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems Experience with Concur software Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP)Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
