DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low and medium voltage electric distribution systems and a passion for developing innovative solutions.Key Responsibilities

Design and develop low and medium voltage electric distribution systems.

Utilize working knowledge of P&ID to create detailed diagrams.

Develop HAC designs with in-depth knowledge of HAC principles.

Understand and layout grounding systems at various sites.

Create one-line and three-line diagrams and electrical schematics.

Layout raceways, wireways, conduit, duct banks, and cable trays.

Work with Transformers, MCC, and Switchgears in industrial design settings.

Perform load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and understand motor starting concepts.

Apply thorough knowledge of protective relays in designs.

Develop technical specifications for electrical equipment.

Ensure compliance with NEC standards.

Collaborate with internal teams specializing in civil/structural, mechanical, controls, and automation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Conduct periodic site visits, walkthroughs, and attend scoping meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of ETAP and SKM software for Arc Flash studies.

EIT certification in California.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

5+ years of experience in low and medium voltage electric distribution systems.

Benefits & Salary: This position pays between $83,000 and $100,000 annually and is an exempt position.

Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.

Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.

May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
