Tax Manager

Description We are looking for a Tax Manager to assist our client in San Francisco. In this role, you will manage income tax compliance, accounting, and planning tasks. The role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and is based in a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment. Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provisions Manage the filing of quarterly estimated payments, extensions, and income tax returns Lead responses to state tax notices and audits Research and provide solutions to internal clients on tax-related matters Lead ad hoc projects or assignments related to tax management Ensure all customer credit applications are processed efficiently and maintain accurate recordsRequirements Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Tax Manager or similar role Proficient in tax provisions and income tax provision Familiarity with OneSource software Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred Extensive knowledge of tax regulations and laws Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure Strong leadership and team management skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
