Function as a liaison (“data co-pilot”) between IT and functional areas for Business Intelligence projects, managing and taking accountability for quality delivery of projects on time.
Direct in developing project plans, communication plans, change readiness assessments, road shows, and end-user training.
Lead the design, development, implementation and utilization of Business Intelligence tools and reports to evaluate business process effectiveness.
Conduct Business Intelligence mapping discussions, configure solutions, guide system and integration testing, and manage implemented solutions.
Enhance existing Business Intelligence tools and reports by adding new requirements or improving existing design. Manage data quality in Business Intelligence reports.
Proactively identify processes that would benefit from system automation to improve Business Intelligence team effectiveness and increase operating efficiencies
Eliminate data silos and bridge gaps using effective data models that enable cross functional and rolled-up level reporting.
Create comprehensive training programs and documents with the goal of creating effective end users for all Business Intelligence tools.
Basic Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years' of SQL experience is required.
3-5 years’ experience with complex technical report design and implementation with working knowledge of variable syntax construction for various aggregation strategies, and an understanding of when a data cube will require an alternate aggregation approach.
3-5 years’ experience working with various Tableau.
3-5 years’ experience working with various DW, BI, or ERP software packages.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated excellent verbal/written communication skills. Excellent analytical thinking capabilities.
