Global Intelligence Associate Director
California, Sanfrancisco, 94102 Sanfrancisco USAReporting to Accenture’s Chief Security Officer, this person will direct a global team charged with using information from vendors, open-source material, and social media data to identify, research, and assess potential threats to Accenture’s employees, operations, facilities, and reputation globally. This position focuses on non-cyber-related threats such as civil unrest and crime, but a general knowledge of cyber actors and threat vectors should inform the analysis. We are seeking an experienced intelligence program manager capable of handling multiple and competing priorities and briefing top executives while applying their experience to lead a diverse, multi-country team of analysts to produce a range of intelligence products and services. Key Responsibilities:
Direct the day-to-day work of a team of intelligence analysts to support all corporate security functions.
Assist Accenture’s security programs in the areas of crisis management, executive protection, travel security, behavioral threat assessment and tracking, event planning, and geographic expansion and facility selection.
Work with security leaders and other stakeholders to ensure the intelligence team’s products remain relevant.
Ensure the dissemination of select information in high-quality written or oral formats to business leaders to enable them to make timely and informed critical decisions.
Develop and implement intelligence processes and products.
Ensure team members develop their analytical tradecraft and area knowledge through appropriate training and conferences.
The role will at times require the select candidate to take responsibility for a geographic or business area personally as well as to oversee the team’s efforts.
In that role, the selected individual will prepare threat assessments covering travel, locations (countries/cities/buildings), and events, tailored intelligence products, daily incident assessments, threat forecasts, and social media summaries.
Job Requirements:
Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays as required by breaking events.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 15 years of experience in physical threat monitoring, intelligence and / or a geopolitical analysis-focused role in the public or private sector
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in a relevant field
Experience working in both government and corporate intelligence
Strong expertise in geopolitical analysis, risk assessment, open-source analytical tradecraft.
Knowledge and understanding of analysis on international security issues.
Advanced knowledge and experience with various social media platforms, OSINT, and related software.
Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams in a global context.
Experience in setting strategic goals, managing performance, and fostering a positive work environment.
Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff.
Ability to create and implement professional development plans and programs.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Experience with advanced intelligence tools and technologies.
Effective collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to deliver intelligence insights that inform strategic decision-making and present findings and recommendations to in a clear and impactful manner.
Strong experience in working effectively and managing relationships with various departments and functions within an organization.
Ability to influence and collaborate across teams to drive business outcomes.
Ability to drive innovation in intelligence methodologies and tools. Implement best practices to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of intelligence operations.
Experience in managing external vendors and service providers.
Proven ability to develop and oversee budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Proficiency in multiple languages to facilitate global intelligence operations and analysis.
International work experience.
Background in managing or advising during high-stress, high-stakes situations, particularly in a global context.
Expertise in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
