Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a top-performing industry leader!Some Responsibilities of the Portfolio Accountant:
Prepare financial reports for various funds, including financials and capital account allocations.
Coordinate investment funding, prepare capital calls and distributions, and assess cash needs for the funds.
Manage GL, including journal entries, and conduct monthly reconciliations.
Calculate fund performance metrics.
Assist with audits, review tax returns and K-1s, analyze foreign filing requirements, and ensure FATCA/CRS compliance.
Monitor partnership agreement compliance for accounting and tax purposes.
Ensure compliance with SEC regulations regarding ownership filings.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related.
2+ years' experience in public audit with VC, PE, or PE/RE clients, or working in Venture Capital or Private Equity.
Or 2+ years of experience in Partnership Tax or 3+ years of Fund Administration.
Experience with complex carry calculations, carry trigger models, and partner allocations.
Demonstrates ownership of tasks and enjoys collaborating with others towards common objectives.
