Job Requisition ID #24WD80750Responsibilities :Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Build and run Forge platform services. Write code that is tested, readable, and maintainable. Engage in technical discussion and decision making to shape the future of making things. Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems. Work on server-side development using Java/.NET. Work with SQL and NoSQL databases. Consume, design, and implement REST APIs. Build apps on AWS utilizing services such as S3, DynamoDB, IAM, EC2, and Lambda. Implement unit and integration tests. Some telecommuting is permitted.Minimum education/experience requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a software developer-related occupation. Some telecommuting is permitted.Skill Requirements:Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:

Experience utilizing knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns to implement a new feature to an existing application.

Experience utilizing knowledge of QTP and TestNG to automate functional tests.

Experience utilizing knowledge of relational database, Oracle and MySQL to store application metadata.

Experience utilizing knowledge of Junit test framework to write unit tests to achieve maximum test coverage.

Experience utilizing knowledge of Unix commands to perform day-to-day activities including deploying code, executing test scripts and writing shell scripts.

Position also requires at least 2 years of experience in each of the following skills:

Experience utilizing knowledge of Selenium to automate and debug regression test suite.

Experience utilizing knowledge of CI/CD concepts and Jenkins tool to deploy code to different environments.

Position also requires at least one semester of graduate-level coursework or some experience in each of the following skills:

Experience utilizing knowledge of JavaScript, Node JS and Express JS framework to develop a full-stack application to create an e-commerce website.

Experience utilizing knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch to develop a fully cloud based application.

Experience utilizing knowledge of Java to develop the REST APIs for library management system.

Experience utilizing knowledge of terraform, CI/CD concepts and GitHub Actions tool to set up the fully automated infrastructure, and deploy the pipeline to different environments.

For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $181,272 - $216,300/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
