Salesforce Commerce Cloud Software Engineer (SFCC)

Full-time / Direct-Hire

Summary: Our client is looking for a Commerce Cloud Software Engineer to join their ecommerce team. The Engineer will be responsible for architecting and implementing high-quality client-side solutions for our eCommerce platform. We recently moved to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform - this position is critical in helping the team continue to build best-practice engineering processes in a new era of eCommerce.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Integrate extensible and maintainable markup with a Salesforce Commerce Cloud backend
  • Deliver markup based on design collaborations with an in-house design team
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand current interface challenges
  • Identify and solve current deficiencies in Frontend - performance, architecture, experience, etc.
  • Continually introduce the team to best-in-class Frontend technologies, and help build the roadmap to get us there

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4-7 years+ of Architect Level experience and is responsible for designing and delivering client-side software for the ecommerce experience.
  • Full understanding and experience developing within the Model/View/Controller framework paradigm in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA)
  • Strong HTML & CSS (including extensions like SCSS)
  • Experience with Javascript frameworks like Node and React
  • Move fast while maintaining a high level of quality and strong attention to detail
  • Experience working in Agile teams and willing to help out colleagues no matter how small the task
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Netsuite is a plus
  • An independent thinker who makes technical decisions with the user’s best interests in mind
  • Previous startup and fashion ecommerce experience is a plus
