Journeyman

Position: Journeyman

Job Description: Light woodworking, cabinet install, punch list, supervision.

Location: North Park, San Diego

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $18-$30 per hour

We’re hiring a journeyman-level worker to help close out a ground-up construction project. Tasks include:

Light woodwork (trim, baseboards, doors)

Welding (handrails, brackets, small structural fixes)

Installing anchors, embeds, and minor structural adjustments

Cleaning and prepping the site (debris removal, power washing)

Concrete patching and minor masonry repairs

Final painting and caulking touch-ups

Installing hardware (locks, handles, fixtures)

Adjusting or installing lighting, outlets, or plumbing fixtures

Exterior finishes (siding, gutters, landscaping prep)

Open and close gates to control site access.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the construction site.

Assist in moving materials and supplies around the site.

Help coordinate daily activities and support the construction team.

Operate man lifts and other equipment as needed.

Perform other general labor tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

-Punctuality and strong work ethic.

-Passion for construction and willingness to learn.

-Basic knowledge of building plans and construction is preferred but not required.

-Familiarity with CAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD is a big plus but not required.

-Ability to operate a man lift (training is provided).
