Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Bellwether Mechanical Systems, Inc., is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a commercial (HVAC) mechanical company that service, maintain, replace and construct all commercial levels of mechanical equipment, including controls systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial, industrial, and control systems

- Conduct system inspections to identify issues and recommend proper solutions

- Perform routine preventative maintenance

- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently on various mechanical systems

- Accurately track repairs and complete work in work order systems

- Communicate with customers to offer solutions, options and excellent customer service

Work will be performed on cooling towers, boilers, pumps, VFDs, chillers, WSHPs, splits systems, package units, four-pipe fan coils, VAVs, and VRF systems.

Experience:

- 5+ years’ experience in commercial HVAC service

- EPA Certification required

- Good communication skills

- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, various types of drawings

- Clean DMV record and a valid California Driver’s License

- Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs.

- Climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations in hot/cold conditions

- Basic hand tools and meter

- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills

- May be required to perform after-hours calls within a rotation
