Window Blind Installer (Summer Seasonal)

We are interested in candidates who can work part-time as needed through summer and into fall. Work is part-time as needed with at least 24 hours' notice.

We are a non-UNION commercial window treatment contractor based in San Diego at www.divwin.com, with a regional office in Anaheim that services the greater Los Angeles area. The candidate must communicate well with others.

100% of our work is in commercial construction, and we pay prevailing wages while working on public works contracts. San Diego County Resilient Tile Layer $58.56/Hr

We install commercial Window Treatments. Window treatment experience is not required but is a plus.

Installation Pace:

Minimum 25 units/pieces installed per day (More expected with experience)

Skylight Shades

Vertical Blinds

Horizontal Mini Blinds

Draperies

Hospital Cubicle Curtains & Tracks

Metal Pockets

Tools used:

Screw Drivers

Pliers

Blades

Tape Measure

Power Hand Drill

Power Saws

Chop Saws

Grinders

Rotary Drills

A qualified individual should have the following qualifications:

- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE and all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

- Hard Hat

- Boots

- Hi-Visibility Vest

- Safety Glasses

- Work Gloves

- MUST have a minimum of 1 year experience in construction.

- MUST be willing to travel. (Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, & Imperial Counties)

- General carpentry skills and use of hand tools preferred.

- Has great customer service skills, is pleasant in demeanor and clean in appearance.

- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, problem solving skills, mechanically inclined

- Ability to work independently or with others and proactively

- Adhere to scheduled appointments

- Ensure all materials, field supplies, and equipment are treated and maintained well.

- Flexible and available to work Full-time 7 days a week on both nights and weekends, when applicable.

- Great work ethics and attitude.

- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

- Ability to operate scissor lift

- Ability to climb up and down a ladder and scaffolding

- Ability to works at heights up to 50'

Compensation Benefits:

- Salary will commensurate with experience

- Full time (40 hours a week) position; overtime available
