Import Auto Service of Santee, CA is looking for motivated, experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team. We are a successful family owned and operated shop that offers a friendly staff, and experienced leadership to help our technicians.

We work on all makes and models, and on a wide variety of repairs. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning in a timely manner.

Communication with Service Advisors

Road test vehicles when required

Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer, as well as ensuring the customer’s vehicle is kept clean.

Ensure that required documentation is completed and accurate

Reports machine defects and malfunctions

Maintain up-to-date knowledge about our industry

Ensure that workspace is kept clean, and equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored properly

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for the Automotive Technician position will have:

Positive, can-do attitude.

5 + years of experience as an automotive technician

Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)

ASE/Manufacturer Certifications (Preferred)

Diagnostic ability

Troubleshooting skills

Commitment to quality

Team player

Good communicator

Personal set of tools

Valid/Clean driver's license
