Hours: Full Time-TBD

This position is under the general direction of the Barona Gaming Commission and reports directly to the Surveillance Supervisor. The position assures operational and departmental compliance to all relevant Minimum Internal Control Standards and requires the operation of surveillance equipment for the purpose of safeguarding the assets of the Barona Tribe, and for the safety and protection of guests and staff.

Relevant Experience Or Requirements: Able to sit for long periods of time in a climate controlled, dimly lit/dark atmosphere. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, including being able to type and write legibly while effectively communicating through phones and two-way radios, and actively monitoring cameras and surveillance related equipment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Able to read small characters on computer/video monitors in dimly lit conditions. Working knowledge of surveillance equipment and controls. Good verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel. Advanced knowledge of slot machines, casino card games, including but not limited to, blackjack, craps, roulette, casino war, baccarat and poker style games preferred. Loss prevention experience desired. Math and analytical skills is a plus.

Education Level: High School Diploma or GED required.
