Century Painting - Estimating Assistant

We are a company seeking a detail oriented Assistant Estimatorto join our Commercial Painting Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our Estimating Department on the following tasks and responsibilities:

- Organizing upcoming bids

- Download bid documents (plans, specs, addenda), review, extract information to prepare a take offs for each project

- Prepare bidder lists with contact information for each contractor

- Finalize bid forms; email them to contractors

- Call, Email contractors before and after bid time to review scope, pricing, keeping detailed notes in bid log

- Prepare submittals with cover sheet, product data, painting draw downs, deliver physical samples to contractors; keep detailed notes in submittal log.

- Among other tasks.

- We are willing to train new team member for this position, so we are looking for a candidate that is willing to learn and work with an already motivate, hyped up team to reach our Company Goals.

Requirement for the Candidates are the following:

- Must have Basic Computer Skills

- Knowledge in Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)

- Available 5 Days a week (40 hours) 7:00am to 3:30pm

- Availability to work Saturdays (as needed)

- Communicate effectively with other team member

- English Speaking

- Able to manage time and organize tasks based on level of priority

- Comfortable communicating via phone and email. Strong written communication skills

- Desire to work independently and as a team

In addition, the successful candidate will have great people skills, both verbal and written, and will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other team members. They will be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively, and will be committed to delivering high-quality work that meets or exceeds our clients' expectations.

Compensation is based on knowledge and experience. Ranging from $23 - $25 / Hourly
