GREAT SUMMER JOB - Receptionist

Position Title: Switchboard Operator / Receptionist

Job Details:

Dedicated to providing guests with superior service at the Front Desk located in the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club Executive Offices. Provide a welcoming atmosphere to visitors, assisting them with their needs. Direct phone calls to the correct department as well as give information to calls at their request. In addition, must be willing to supervise three or more operators during the race season. Make sure they all provide friendly customer service to all patrons. Must be able to work race days, which includes weekends and holidays during the Del Mar Thoroughbred Clubs 2024 racing season.

Time Commitment:

4-5 Days a week (30-40 hrs week), Seasonal / Summer Job

2024 Season: July 20th through September 8th

Requirements, Skills & Experience

Must be 18 years of age

Outgoing, energetic and friendly personality

Must have good telephone skills / Customer service skills

Responsible for greeting patrons in a friendly manner.

Have very good Organization skills and be a fast learner

Must be able to multitask in very busy environment.

Can work well closely with others – “A team player”

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.

Daily Rate:

$16.50 an hour
