Shipping and Packaging Clerk

Hughes Circuits, Inc is a high tech electronic manufacturing company with 25 yrs here in San Marcos, CA. We have over 250 team members employed here providing products and services for the Aerospace and Medical industries.

We would like to fill an open position in our Assembly Division, working with our Quality Control Supervisor.

We will be training for this position, so experience is not required.

THE POSITION: Executes the process of packaging and shipping documents and products and ensures completion of required processes prior to shipment; verifies product to be shipped is properly packaged and matches customer purchase order .

Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for receiving incoming assemblies and processing out bound shipments.

Works with company ERP system to determine shipping priorities.

Ensures each shipment must have documentation to support computer system entries.

Works with Corporate Shipping to insure on-time delivery .

Requires completion of daily shipping entries in computer system.

Packages product to minimize damage, follow customer package requirements and ESD guidelines

Tracks all deliveries to ensure accurate processing of orders and delivery of material
