Packager I

POSITION SUMMARY

Package and prepare merchandise for ready stock and in coming customer orders. Packages using envelopes, bags, and clamshells. Entry level position must average 150-200 pieces per hour or 1000-1500 per hour of blistered stock.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma/GED

Ability to read instructions, write down information, understand directions

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential Functions Statement(s)

Manual dexterity and the ability to count. Must be able to operate a PC terminal to accurately enter Item Number and quantity of UPC bar code labels needed to complete packaging product. Must be able to ascertain the number of pieces that go into a package ie: EA, C2, PR.
