Quality Control Technician Associate

Summary:
The Quality Control Technician Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our products/services. As a key member of the Quality team, the QC Tech.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Use assorted hand and power tools to assemble and test basic and complex electro-mechanical subassemblies, computer chassis, and computer systems. Must be able to read engineering drawings and follow written or oral instructions.
Test and troubleshoot of completed subassemblies, boards, and chassis.
Receive, document, and compete RMA cases, including troubleshooting and following up with the responsible area, department, or personnel.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve RMAs (quality issues).
Update RMA cases and metrics as needed in the computer system.
Perform Hi-Pot and Ground Continuity testing.
Provides immediate feedback and training when problems occur.
Train on the quality system, products, and processes using customer specifications and quality system policies, with a focus on process approach and risk-based thinking.
Refurbish customer returned products as required.
Support first article or prototype assembly inspections as directed.
Performs kit inspections to verify the accuracy of work orders or sales orders against BOMs.
Report any conditions that may jeopardize safety, quality, or delivery to the supervisor.
Participate in material review boards meetings for material disposition.
Apply good manufacturing practices and Techniques, such as documented inspections and error proofing methodologies.
Participate in and collaborate on quality performance measures and continuously improve quality processes.
Collaborate on investigations of non-conforming material/products to determine causes and develop corrective and preventive actions.
Participate in audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and industry regulations.
Support calibration process and ESD program activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma, associate degree preferred or combination of education and experience.
3 – 5 years of directly related experience.
Experience in conducting audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of relevant software and tools.
Demonstrated ability in report making and documentation.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
