Material Handler/ Stock Clerk (Electronic Manufacturing)

Growing electronic contract manufacturer located in Carlsbad is seeking experienced Material Handler for 1st and2nd shift only (1.75 differential).

Material handler/Receiving Clerk receives all in-coming materials and supplies, performs inspection of materials, maintains accurate inventory records in ERP system. Issues job orders (picking, kitting, and packaging stock.); complete job order kit paperwork; moves material to designated work center; perform cycle counts per schedule; and keep work area clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

Receives, unloads, and inspects in-coming materials and supplies.

Records in-coming materials in system, maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders for kitting.

Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity, placing materials in stock.

Performs and reports cycle counts.

Complies with all guidelines and safety rules.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED

· 2+ years’ stockroom experience in an electronic manufacturing environment.

· Great organizational skills and computer literate a must

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Attention to detail and excellent data entry skills
