Associate Attorney (Workers’ Compensation)
California, San diego, 92101 San diego USABetts Law Group is seeking a driven Associate Attorney with a passion for sports and employee rights to work directly with former professional athletes. The ideal candidate will want immediate hands-on litigation experience on all aspects of case handling from inception to conclusion, including handling depositions, court hearings, trials, legal research, and briefs. Experience in workers’ compensation, defense or applicant side, is preferred.
What You'll Do:
Provide zealous advocacy representing professional athletes in workers' compensation claims.
Manage a dynamic caseload, driving cases towards successful resolutions.
Draft essential legal documents, work on all phases of discovery, get deposition experience immediately, and represent clients in and out of court.
Receive direct mentorship from experienced partners committed to honing your skills and accelerating your career trajectory within a collaborative team setting.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary range of $110,000 to $125,000, based on your experience.

Your Profile:
A JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
California State Bar member with 1-3 years’ experience.
Possess a passion for sports, advocate for employee rights, and seek justice through impactful compensation claims.
Eager to master the ins and outs of litigation, from conducting depositions to representing clients in the courtroom, supported by strong communication and organizational skills.
