Aluminum Structural Fitter/Helper

Pacific Welding & Fabrication is looking to hire a structural fitter for aluminum craft repairs.

Job Responsibilities.

1. Reliable attendance and on time.

2. Ability to follow all safety regulations. i.e. OSHA Maritime Regulations

3. Remove damaged structural components with, Grinders, Sawzall, plasma torch and die grinders.

4. Fit up structural components for welding, bevels, strong backs, cleanliness.

5. Assist welder in the following, fire watch, move equipment, general assistance.

Minimum Requirements

1. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

2. Must be able to use electric hand tools.

3. Must be able to use tape measure, square and compass.

4. Must be able to work in tight spaces.

5. Must be able to use half face respirator.

Location:

Point Loma / Pacific Highway Area

Hours:

Mon - Friday 6:30am - 5:00pm. (10 hour days, 4 days a week)
