Vintage Auto shop looking for experienced mechanic

Hot Rods & Custom Stuff, an auto shop specializing in classic cars and hot rods in Escondido CA is in need of an experienced mechanic. This position will include the following duties:

Wiring, engine, transmission, rear end assembly, disassembly and overhaul.

Brake system repair

Routine maintenance

Test and tune

Interior, exterior disassembly / assembly as needed

Cosmetically restore / paint engine parts, engine bay, chassis, misc.

Experience wiring vehicles / troubleshoot wiring and electrical problems

Proficient in diagnosing drivability concerns

Familiar with wheel alignments and suspension

Familiar with retrofitting modern R134A AC systems into older vehicles

Minimum 5 years experience required in at least 50% of these skills

Good driving record

4x 10hr day schedule: Mon-Thurs 6am-5pm
