Deck and Patio Cover Construction Lead Carpenter Foreman/Journeyman

We are a residential deck and patio cover construction company looking for a lead carpenter. Must have at least 5 years of experience in building decks and patio covers and at least 10 years of advanced carpentry/framing. Must be able to run a 1-3 man crew on a jobsite. This position is not to just oversee the crew, but to be the lead carpenter on the job. This position is a bags on labor intensive job. Experience with aluminum patio covers (Alumawood, Four Seasons, etc.) is a bonus.

Looking for someone who lives in the North County San Diego area.

You will be working under limited supervision so knowledge, experience, and communication is key. You will report directly to the project manager who will line each job out with you. Materials are ordered and prepared prior to the job.

We are looking for someone long term who will be apart of our team.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday. Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Must have a drivers license and a clean driving record with reliable transportation to and from work. We do provide a company vehicle to drive to the jobsite. If on occasions you are asked to drive your own vehicle you will be reimbursed for mileage. Must be able to work in the US.

We have been in business for over 19 years. We are a small company that takes pride in the work we produce for our customers. We usually operate with four two man crews, a foreman and a helper. Our office/shop is located in San Marcos which is where our crews meet in the morning before going to the jobsite. Payroll is direct deposited every other week. We are licensed, bonded, and insured.
