Automotive Quick Lube Technician

New car dealership seeking a self-motivated, full-time Quick Lube Automotive Technician with express maintenance experience to join our team! If you’re a hard-working person who believes in contributing to the overall success of our company and if you have a solid work ethic, we want to meet you!
Quick Lube Automotive Technician Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform oil and filter changes
Tire repair, rotation and maintenance
Perform light duty technician and maintenance repairs
Communicate with service team on vehicle status
Follow all established safety rules
Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
Other duties as assigned
Quick Lube Automotive Technician Qualifications:
Experience working in a high-volume dealership preferred
Previous Quick Lube experience
Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment
Ability to work in warm weather conditions
Strong communication and computer skills
Excellent team-player
Professional in appearance and grooming
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug test
High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule Requirements:
Must be available to work Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM plus occasional overtime and Rotating Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include: background checks, MVR, and drug testing in order to qualify for employment
Quick Lube Automotive Technician Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, reach above head, sit, stand, talk and hear. The employee must be able to see color and at close and far distances and is required to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Rotating weekends
Saturdays as needed
Ability to Relocate:
National City, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
