Are you ready to light up San Diego and beyond? We are seeking motivated and reliable workers to join our team as Seasonal Holiday Light and Decor Installers.

During the holiday season, our crews install holiday lighting and decor on commercial buildings and residential homes.

The perfect candidate is reliable, motivated to work, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow. You must be open to working with your hands using tools and equipment, and you’re not afraid to get dirty! You’re comfortable with heights, heavy lifting, and climbing ladders. You’re a team player that wants to get a job done!

Experience driving large vehicles is a plus. Clean driving record is a must.

This a seasonal position, with expected work (with varying hours per week) from October through January only.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Taking direction from crew leads and operations manager

-Loading up vans with materials needed each morning

-Unloading vans at the end of each day

-Driving to event sites with fellow crew members from the warehouse

-Installing lighting displays on residential and/or commercial buildings for the holidays

-Installing lighting displays for events, which may include building truss structures, hanging pendants, and setting up light fixtures

-Climbing ladders, walking on rooftops, and ensuring safe installation practices

-Lifting and carrying large and sometimes heavy items

-Working in the warehouse, as needed

PERKS AND BENEFITS:

-$20/hr

-You will become OSHA-certified during training (at our expense), and you will be able to take that with you to other jobs in the future

WORK SCHEDULE: 20 - 60hrs per week, October through January. We run crews seven days a week, with the possible opportunity to work up to 5 days per week for each crew member. You will need to report to our warehouse in Hillcrest and go out to jobs from there in our work vehicles. Shift hours vary from 2-14 hour shifts, depending on the nature of the job (There is mandatory overtime on some days, and we pay 1.5x for any hours worked over 8 hour per day, and/or over 40 hrs per week). We have day and night shifts throughout the season.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Cannot be afraid of heights

-Must be able physically able to move, lift, and carry up to 100lbs

-Must have a driver's license and a clean driving record

-Authorized to work in the USA

-Positive attitude

-Must speak English fluently

-Ability to work with a team and take direction

-Willingness to learn

-Must have a smartphone to access apps for employee communications and scheduling
