Holiday Event Associate

Trail Steward/Event host:

· This position is walking to section on the trail in beginning of the night(could be up to a half mile walk) and then standing in place for 6-7 hours per night

· customer service is IMPORTANT here, being friendly to guests, cheerful

· available for questions – “where’s the restroom or where is the closest concession stand?”

· No cell phone usage while on post

· Be comfortable with using a walkie-talkie for communication

· Be comfortable being alone on the trail with guests and communicate in walkie-talkie in case of emergency to headquarters

Parking Lead:

On average per night there are 3 parking lots open at various entrances of the Trail, at each of these parking lots there is 1 lead.

· Help direct team of 5-8 staff members to various areas of the parking lot

· Standing and walking entire night- physical job

· Have safety be #1 priority while working in the parking lots as there are moving cars and people

· Be a self-starter and take initiative when needed

· Be friendly to staff members and guests and work in a team environment

· Be an effective communicator to staff and guests

· Be comfortable with using a walkie-talkie

· Have open availability so there are consistency within the parking lots (we want these staff members to work MOST nights if possible)

· No cell phone usage while in parking lots

Parking Attendant:

There are open each night at the event, there are staff members in each lot helping direct traffic into the lots and out of the lots as well has help guests safely walk to ticket entrance

· Standing and walking around entire parking lot 6-7 hours per night -physical job

· Customer service to guests with questions, friendly and have safety in mind

· Awareness of cars parked in lot, moving cars in lot and walking pedestrians

· Can take direction from lead and communicate well with others in TEAM environment

· Be comfortable with using a walkie-talkie to communicate

· No cell phone usage while in parking lots safety

Janitorial/Facilities:

· Clean up of spills on trial, help take out trash from concession stands on trial and in restrooms

· Restocking of restroom toilet paper and paper towels

· - walking trail and from concession stand to restroom

· Be comfortable with wearing latex gloves and working with messes

· Be a team player- and a good communicator when in need of assistance

· Be comfortable using a walkie-talkie – this is there only form of communication on the trail

· No cell phone usage

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
