Warehouse Manager (Start 6/3)

Guest House is a staging and retail company based in San Diego and we’re looking to hire a Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for maintaining our 8,000sqft warehouse, offer suggestions and solutions for efficient storage, communicate effectively with our ops and moving teams on a daily basis and manage day-to-day moves. As the WH manager, it is your responsibility to insure all furniture, art, decor and other items are successfully pulled and prepped for the movers daily. When pieces come back to the warehouse, items must be quality checked and efficiently stored back in the WH according to company standards. Overall warehouse upkeep, accepting deliveries, assembling furniture, sourcing and managing materials for the WH, working with our moving teams and being available consistently are all within the role expectations as well.

We're a small start-up team looking to add a new member who is excited about taking on new duties and being a strong resource for our design team. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to lift at least 50lbs. We need an exceptional team player who can communicate efficiently with our team, maintain a consistent schedule and be solution-oriented.

Requirements

- Positive, reliable, communicative and consistent

- Can lift at least 50lbs

- At least 1yr experience in warehouse management, staging or similar furniture moving experience

- Can assemble furniture efficiently

- Basic tool set (screw drivers, drill, pliers etc.) for furniture repair and assembly

- Has consistent availability M-F sometime between 9-2pm
