Auto Detailer / Car wash / Shop Helper

Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Auto Detailer/Car Washer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning vehicles according to company standards, which includes vacuuming interiors and washing exteriors. This role is crucial in ensuring that all vehicles look their best and meet our quality standards. Secondary responsibilities include general shop maintenance and upkeep. Taking out trash and keeping the grounds/office clean and picked up, are some of the additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

-Wash, wax, and dry vehicles using appropriate cleaning solutions and materials.

-Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors, and treat materials with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.

-Clean engine and engine compartments with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.

-Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.

-Restore vehicle appearance by removing swirl marks, buffing, and applying wax to paint surfaces.

-Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.

-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and practices.

Qualifications:

-Previous experience in auto detailing or car washing is preferred but not required.

-Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent results.

-Ability to follow instructions and operate various cleaning tools and equipment.

-Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
