Hotel Houseperson (seasonal/temporary)

Lamplighter Inn offers warmth and value to all of our guests. We are currently seeking a HOUSEPERSON to join our team. This is a Seasonal/Temporary position. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Collects soiled linen for laundering from housekeepers throughout the day. Deliver clean linen to housekeeping staff throughout the day.

2. Organize and restock clean linen from laundry.

3. Assist housekeepers strip soiled linen from beds when needed.

4. Assist housekeepers with keeping carts stocked with necessary supplies.

5. Assist in Breakfast room by washing dishes, cleaning tables, and putting food items away.

6. Clean and maintain public hotel areas including parking lot, hallways, pool, and lobby area.

7. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Knowledge of general cleaning tools and methods.

2. Previous experience preferred. Hotel experience preferred.

3. Basic English communication skills (conversational).

4. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Valid proof of eligibility is required upon hire.

Starting pay: $17.25/hour

Full pay range: $17.25 - $19.75/hour

The pay scale provided is a range that Lamplighter Inn reasonably expects an employee to earn over time as experience increases.
