Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Hiring Coordinator to join our small but thriving medical practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in the medical industry and hands-on experience in hiring and onboarding employees, such as receptionists and medical assistants. This role also includes writing and maintaining employee procedures, ensuring our team operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Manage the recruitment process for roles such as receptionists and medical assistants, including posting job openings, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and making hiring recommendations.

Develop and maintain detailed employee procedures and policies to ensure operational consistency and compliance.

Assist in onboarding new hires, including training and familiarizing them with practice operations and procedures.

Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices in hiring.

Support the practice manager with additional administrative and HR-related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Required: Proven experience in hiring and recruitment, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.

Prior experience working in a small medical practice or similar environment is highly preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in drafting and managing employee procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and team members.

Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.

Schedule:

This is a part-time or full-time position (depending on candidate availability), with flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the practice.
