Established Plastic Surgery Center in UTC Seeking a Medical Assistant: FULL-TIME

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· Proven to be extremely reliable with minimal supervision.

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Possesses exceptional customer service skills and a motivating positive attitude.

· Works well under pressure and does not waiver in working as a team.

· Comfortable asking for help when needed.

· Experience in Plastic Surgery or Cosmetic Dermatology preferred (not required)

· Demonstrates a commitment to ethical conduct.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

· Effectively communicates pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients.

· Performs a variety of administrative tasks such as chart documentation and completing consent paperwork

· Triage and patient follow up

· Responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies and ordering

· Assist and provide services requested/required by the surgeon during a procedure while utilizing aseptic techniques (Botox and Filler familiarity).

· Upholds and presents a polished, professional image at all times, to include, attire, verbal communications, and job performance.

· Demonstrates flexibility and teamwork in managing the needs of patient’s care and clinic schedule and flow.
