If you are a hospitality first minded coffee lover looking to make a career out of specialty coffee, then perhaps this is the position for you.

We are a high-end specialty coffee roasting company seeking three hospitality minded individuals to join our team as we look to expand our hours. We pride ourselves on creating an elevated guest experience centered around hospitality, education, and quality so this is not your typical "barista" position. Instead this is an opportunity for growth-minded individuals looking for a full career-track to establish themselves as respected specialty coffee professionals with endless opportunities ahead. You will be trained in espresso preparation, pour over brewing, milk steaming, drink creation & recipe development, extraction science, sensory & palate development, production roasting, sample roasting, basic equipment maintenance, retail equipment knowledge, hospitality and more.

Basic requirements:

- English language proficiency (verbal & written)

- Able to lift 50lbs unassisted

- Able to stand on your feet 4 hours at a time

- 40 hour per week availability, 8 hours per day (Hours of Availability Between: 6am-6pm)

- Weekend availability

- Ability to understand/utilize basic math formulas & ratios

- Reliable transportation

- No caffeine sensitivity issues

- Ability to detect & distinguish basic flavors and characteristics within coffee (e.g. coffee tasting and sensory evaluation)

This is a full-time position with a training and evaluation period for those without the necessary/relevant prior experience.

If you require training, you will complete a 90 day training program at $18/hour. At the end of the training program, you will be administered a pass/fail written evaluation at which time your hourly pay will increase to $19/hour upon successful passing. After a second 90 day period, you will be administered a pass/fail practical evaluation at which time your hourly pay will increase to $20/hour upon successful passing. You will then be eligible for a $.50-$1/hr raises each month up to $24/hour upon successful passing of advanced written/practical evaluations.

If you already possess relevant experience/skills within specialty coffee and can complete a practical skills & written knowledge evaluation at the time of interview, you will be immediately eligible to start at $20/hour with a 30 day practical evaluation period. Upon completion of the evaluation period, you will be eligible for $.50-$1/hr raises every two months up to $25/hour.

The only inquiries that will be considered are those submitted with resumes. Interviews will be scheduled within 72 hours of inquiry. Positions will be filled with a start date within 1-2 weeks from the time an offer is extended.
