Hiring Line Cook (Full Time 40 hrs)

Bento Noodles Eastlake is offering employment for Line Cook and Dishwasher Positions for our Japanese Restaurant. We are a family business that has operated for over 20 years in Chula Vista that offers delicious and affordable Japanese cuisine such as Bento Boxes, Rice Bowls, Ramen, and Curry. We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals that are comfortable working in the kitchen.

We are open from 11 am - 9 pm on weekdays, until 9:30 pm on Friday/Saturday.

We are looking for a FULL TIME Cook to work up to 40 hours.

Being able to work Weekend Shifts is highly preferred, weekdays are available as well.

1-2 years minimum of kitchen cook experience is generally preferred.

Line Cook Responsibilities:

Grill chicken thighs and chopping meat for Rice Bowls and Bento Plates

Using Deep Fryer for fried entrees like Tempura, Chicken, Gyoza, Katsu, etc.

Keep TRACK of orders on a Tablet Screen to ensure orders are made on time

Helps clean the kitchen during the shift and at the end of shifts

Able to communicate well with fellow kitchen cooks and servers

Follows directions and can handle a high-heat and busy environment
