Q&A Restaurant & Oyster Bar, named after executive chef Quinnton Austin, will serve chargrilled oysters and other New Orleans eats.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing delicious meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping

- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

- Follow recipes and presentation specifications

- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant setting

- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling)

- Familiarity with menu planning and food safety guidelines

- Ability to handle knives and kitchen equipment effectively

- Excellent time management skills

- Certificate in culinary arts or relevant field is a plus
