Housekeeping Runner

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Grand Del Mar, as our new Housekeeping Runner.ResponsibilitiesThe Housekeeping Runner will be responsible for the daily ownership and operational execution of the Housekeeping Department. This will include the processing of tasks. This position is dependent on teamwork and a solid foundation based with the mechanical hour capacity and productivity reports and ownership of processes a must for development. Practice safety standards at all times Deliver linens and other supplies to room attendants and closets as requested.  Maintain the cleanliness and organization of runner storage areas.  Respond to guests’ requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies in a timely and efficient manner.  Monitor and control supplies and amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.  Maintain the cleanliness of guest corridor areas. May assist with picking up of soiled linen and trash from closets and disposing/sorting accordingly. Housekeeping Runner may assist with basic cleaning tasks as required.Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
