Staff Accountant

Description Our client is a rapidly growing company in the heart of San Diego, seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and detail-oriented, boasting solid understanding of accounting principles. They will be responsible for providing financial information, preparing reports, performing account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of financial statements, and assisting with budget and forecasting tasks.Responsibilities:

Prepare comprehensive financial statements

Perform account analysis and reconciliations

Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Assist with tax audits and tax returns

Support month-end and year-end close processes

Ensure compliance with GAAP principles

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience

Strong knowledge of accounting laws and procedures

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software

CPA or CPA track preferred

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
