Description Are you a talented Financial Analyst looking for your next opportunity to excel? Robert Half, in partnership with a leading company in San Diego, is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will focus on financial planning and analysis, reporting, partnering with various departments, ad-hoc reporting and analysis, forecasting, and special projects.Financial Planning and Analysis:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and forecast future results.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to management and stakeholders.

Analyze key performance metrics and variances, providing insights and recommendations.

Assist with the preparation of presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.

Business Partnering:

Collaborate with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide support and guidance.

Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize financial performance.

Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, offering financial expertise and insights.

Ad-hoc Reporting and Analysis:

Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis and reporting from internal stakeholders.

Conduct special projects and analyses as assigned, contributing to business initiatives and decision-making.

Forecasting and Special Projects:

Assist in the development of financial forecasts and scenario analyses.

Participate in special projects aimed at improving financial processes and driving business growth.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.

Strong Excel skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with financial planning and reporting tools/software is a plus.
