Xoriant reasonably expects the pay rate for this position to be within the following range: $65/hr - $80/hr (Depend upon experience)

Job Title: Software Engineer JAVA

Duration: 6+ Months Contract with possibility of extension

Location: San Diego, CA – Hybrid (Few days in a week onsite)

Position Overview/ Day to day:

Works on the shared services development with a team of 5 engineers
Participate in on-call support for 2 weeks of sprint (will rotate on each sprint).
Will be collaborating with Japan team & operational team.
More on the Java side and some python & Node.js
Customer facing as well.
It will be a senior role
Participating in daily team work, development, testing and acting related to projects in flight.
Monthly commitments and planning
On call responsibility in sprints and rotating them
One engineer will be working during each sprint and deals with oncall activity, estimating work and planning activities.

Required Skills:

Strong Java Coding skills is required
Experience working with spring, spring boot and related spring technologies is required
Experience with AWS Managed services is required.
Exp with REST based Microservices is required
Experience working with relational (Oracle or similar) and NoSQL databases (Aerospike, Dynamo or similar
Able to write DDL or DML scripts in SQL queries.
Need to have basic understanding of database technologies
Standard communication skills
