NBC Universal’s Owned Television station in the San Diego area, KNSD/KUAN-TV, is looking for a Bilingual Meteorologist.Implement NBC 7/T20’s philosophy of being the most accurate and trusted source for disruptive weather on all platformsTell the market’s weather stories in a way that connects with and captivates viewers on all platformsDevelop innovative and creative ways of presenting the daily weather storyWork with the weather team and producers to create complete coverage of weather storiesBreaking Weather Cut-insUse of social media daily and especially during severe eventsPrepare and post forecasts for multiple platformsBe available at any time dangerous weather conditions occurKeep producers and managers informed of upcoming weather conditions for coverage plansSome live reporting and attendance at community and weather-related events will be requiredMake public appearances on behalf of station as an ambassador for the companySalary $90-$125k
