Tutor Needed for Middle School English & History

I am looking for a skilled tutor to help two middle school students improve in English and History. The focus is on organizing and structuring opinions, and writing clear, concise essays with enough detail to explain ideas, but not too much to overwhelm the reader.

Requirements:

Major in English Literature, History, Journalism, Communication, or Political Science (Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred)

Experience tutoring middle or high school students is a plus

Strong ability to teach writing structure, organization, and critical thinking

Patient, engaging, and adaptable teaching style

Job Details:

Location: 92131 San Diego (in-person)

Hours: Flexible, 1-3 times per week (2 or 3 hours per session)
