Beach Bonfire Attendant

Bayside Bonfires, San Diego’s premier provider of high-end beach bonfire experiences, is expanding our team! We’re looking for part-time Bonfire Servers to help us deliver unforgettable moments during our busy weekends. Whether you’re a college student or just looking to earn extra spending money, this is a flexible and rewarding side hustle.

Why Work with Us? We partner with two renowned full-service resorts on Mission Bay to create effortless, classic San Diego bonfire experiences. You’ll get to work in a laid-back beach setting with a fun, passionate team, and have the flexibility to work just a few times a month.

Bonfire Server Responsibilities:

Setup and breakdown of bonfire essentials (fire pits, wood, beach chairs, tables, etc.)

Welcome guests and guide them to their reserved bonfire area

Maintain fires from start to finish (ignition, tending, extinguishing, and hot coal disposal)

Deliver exceptional hospitality and customer service

Additional Duties:

Assemble and distribute s’mores kits and bottled waters

Replenish firewood as needed

Assist guests with s’more preparation

Monitor event timing, ensure clean-up, and prepare for upcoming reservations

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday)

Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to hustle

Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering great customer service

Comfortable with physical tasks like setting up and breaking down bonfires
