Location: San Diego County, San Marcos and UTC La Jolla
Compensation: $20 per hour, with a bonus of up to $300 per lease signed. Weekly pay!
Shift: Standard hours from 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday? With weekend availability as needed.
Job Summary:
The Leasing Agent is responsible for helping prospective tenants find the right apartment, guiding them through the leasing process, and providing excellent customer service. This role includes showing available units, handling leasing paperwork, and supporting residents with any questions or issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leasing Apartments:
- Show available units to prospective tenants and explain property features, pricing, and lease terms.
- Process lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are signed.
2. Customer Service:
- Provide friendly and helpful service to both prospective and current residents.
- Answer questions about the property and assist with maintenance requests and tenant issues.
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections.
3. Marketing and Outreach:
- Post apartment listings online and maintain updated information on rental websites.
- Help with community events and outreach efforts to attract new tenants.
4. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, applications, and tenant information.
- Track apartment availability and coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in property management, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a leasing agent or in a related field.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospective and current tenants.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with property management software are helpful.
Work Environment:
This role typically involves working on-site at the apartment complex, with standard hours from 9 am to 6 pm Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday? Weekend availability may be required for property tours, lease signings, and resident events. The Leasing Agent should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking and adaptability.
