Staff Accountant

Job description

We are looking for an experienced accountant to oversee general accounting operations.

Duties and Responsibilities includes:

AP – vendor invoice processing, bi-weekly check runs

AR - collections, cash receipts & deposits, weekly/monthly billing

Month end reconciliations - bank, credit card, and assigned gl accounts

Additional duties as assigned by Controller

Skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook)

· Proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory)

· Organized, detail oriented, multitask, excellent communication skills

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience, exhibit high standards, possess excellent communication skills, and have an ability to prioritize daily, monthly, and quarterly tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.

Associate/bachelor’s degree Accounting (preferred)
