Experienced Diesel Mechanic

Mobile Diesel Tech-Full-Time

We are looking for mechanically experienced pros. We repair and maintain medium/heavy-duty truck fleets, trailers, and equipment in Sacramento and surrounding counties.

We’re looking for advanced-level Diesel Technicians who can troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel truck and equipment fleets.

You’ll work with a fully equipped truck, including your phone, computer diagnostic equipment, air compressor, air welder/generator, A/C recovery machine, lifting and supporting devices, safety equipment, and all supplies and parts necessary to complete assigned jobs.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Perform inspections, troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance for medium and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment, including all major vehicle systems: engine, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, tires, and computer diagnostics

Respond throughout the day to different tasks as requested by the changing demands and needs of the business

What you will need to succeed:

Highly proficient in troubleshooting and computer diagnostics (or ability to learn)

Strong independent work ethic and responsible character

Aerial Certification is a plus

Punctual, reliable, and positive attitude

Advanced aptitude and ability to perform diagnostics and repairs

Commercial CDL (minimum Class B with air brake endorsement)

Clean driving record and responsible and reliable to manage company's assigned items, including but not limited to company credit card.

High school diploma or equivalent

Able to pass drug screening
